Shyatan (Satan) called a worldwide convention of demons.
In his opening address he said,
“We can’t keep Muslims from going to Mosque.”
“We can’t keep them from reading their Quran and knowing the truth..”
“We can’t even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Allah and his messenger Muhammad.”
“Once they gain that connection with Allah, our power over them is broken.”
“So let them go to their Mosques; let them have their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don’t have time to develop a relationship with Allah and his messenger Muhammad.”
“This is what I want you to do,” said the devil:
“Distract them from gaining hold of their Allah and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!”
“How shall we do this?” his demons shouted.
“Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds,” he answered. Make it fancy so that they don’t’ deviate from our plan.
“Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow.”
“Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles.”
“As their families fragment, soon their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!”
“Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice.”
“Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive.” “To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays music constantly.”
“This will jam their minds and break that union with Allah and his messenger Muhammad.”
“Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers.”
“Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day.”
“Invade their driving moments with billboards.”
“Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes.”
“Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what’s important, and they’ll become dissatisfied with their wives. ”
“Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night.” Give them headaches too!
“If they don’t give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere.”
“That will fragment their families quickly!”
“Give them story books to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Salat..”
“Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on Allah’s creation. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead. “Keep them busy, busy, and busy!”
“And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences. ”
“Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Allah.”
“Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause.”
“It will work!” “It will work!”
It was quite a plan!
The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Muslims everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there..
Having little time for their Allah or their families.
Having no time to tell others about the power of Allah and his messenger Muhammad to change lives.
I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?

1 MUSLIM NATION 
This is the most beautiful description of the challenge faced by those who want the Is-laah of The Ummah of Nabi sall Allaahu ‘alaihi wasallam, which according to Imaam Maalik rahmatullaahi ‘alaih is impossible for those people of the Ummah who would come in the end (Aakhiru haadhihil Ummah literally the Last ones of This Ummah) by anything other than what did the Islaah of the First ones of the Ummah. In Makkah, Rasool sall Allaahu ‘alaihi wasallam used to personally visit the people who then became Sahaabah radi Allaahu ‘anhum. So, we should spend time in Masjid, do Salaam with the brothers there, ask his name and address, and later visit him to talk about Allaah that how much He loves us (because He knew us right there when we were inside the body of our mothers and even our mother didn’t know us)about Mawt which would awaken us from the dream of the short life of this world as I had heard it is a bridge which unites the lover with the Beloved, and remembering death purifies the heart from the rust which gradually develops upon the hearts(Tilaawah of Qur’aanul Hakeem is the other thing which Our Nabi sall Allaahu ‘alaihi wasallam told to achieve the same purification of heart)
If we exclude TV,computer,newspapers from our homes,and mobile phone from our lives,(until the Day when their Haraam use becomes zero, which requires a great Nahi ‘anil Munkar by Hand which is the stronest level of Eemaan)we would have much time left to spend in Masjid.I am an electrical engineer, and I can bet,you can become even engineer(something impossible without computer) without computer at home.I have managed to live without mobile to make me alone to remember Allaah constantly by tongue and heart.I use email at university for Da’wah and verbal Jihad purposes.
I make these assertions, because you don’t know me, so that some my Muslim brothers and sisters whom I love more than my own self, The Love of Nabi sall Allaahu ‘alaihi wasallam necessarily leads to The Love for His Ummah, would be following the example.I can’t describe the peace within my heart by being close to Allaah by Dhikr and Salaah bil Jamaa’ah(Ajr is multiplied by 25, who should miss that!) and Tilaawah-I try to do Tilaawah of Sooratul Mulk every night because Rasool sall Allaahu ‘alaihi wasallam used to do so every night before sleeping.I try to do Tilaawah of Soorah YaSeen because The Taabi’ee ‘Ata bin abi Rabaah rahmatullaahi ‘alaih who had personally met 200 Sahaabah radi Allaahu ‘anhum said that it has reached me that Whoever recites YaSeen in the beginning of the day,his hawaaij/needs would be fulfilled.
I have liked the post so much that I can’t describe it in words. I would make further posts InshaAllaah.I had once made a list that I would do Jihad against these things until I die, TV and computer at Muslim homes topped that list until or unless their Haraam use reduces to zero which is impossible at least now. Allaah says about alcohol in Qur’aanul Hakeem that their damage outweighs their benefits. The same is the case I see with TV and computer at Muslim homes.They have destroyed Islam in decades what took centuries to build.A Mujaahid is reported to have said that Muslim homes have become dens of prostitution due to computers at Muslim homes. I cannot help agreeing with that brother.
May Allaah unite us all with Rasool sall Allaahu ‘alaihi wasallam and His As-haab radi Allaahu ‘alaihi wasallam in Jannah
